Leave it on the ice as a pastime

A free lake, and still 19+: here is why

Social casino games borrow the look, sound and pacing of real gambling. Auger Hole Lake is meant only for adults over the legal gambling age and is not aimed at anyone under 19. Your age is confirmed twice: first on the banner that meets you at the shore, and again with a tick you must make when your account is created.

Promises Tormod keeps on the ice

• Never offer real-money gambling, nor promote it.
• Never give out a prize with real-world value.
• Never sell coins or slip in in-app purchases.
• Never point you at gambling operators or affiliates.
• Never use countdowns or streaks that press you to come back.

Tormod’s word about thin ice

A free game can be set up to feel generous, and it tops up your pail without charge. Real-money games do neither of those things. Doing well on the ice tells you nothing about how you would fare with money at stake.

Cracks worth watching for

• Staying on the ice far longer than you meant to.
• Turning short-tempered when the session ends.
• Spinning to escape a bad mood instead of facing it.
• The reels are taking hours from sleep, work or the people who count on you.
• You find yourself hunting for a version played with real money.

Keeping steady on the ice

• Set how long you will stay out before the first spin.
• Leave autoplay off, every time.
• Head for shore now and then.
• For a clean slate, wipe this site’s data from your browser; to stop for good, block the site through your device settings.
